After last night’s major project briefing I couldn’t find the peace to sleep and this morning I have a discussion with the other 2 lecturers responsible for your major project. We have decided that it is paramount for the students to have a good grip on what you want to design for the Major Project. As such we are proposing that a mind mapping + brainstorming meeting to be held on next Monday, 12th Oct evening at 7pm to 9pm, and another session on next Friday 16th Oct evening 7pm to 9pm.



Session 1 (Monday evening)

- SWOT analysis to identify individual strength, weakness, opportunity and threat.

- Mind Mapping on individual’s area of interest

- Small group brainstorming on workable idea

Objective

- acquire 2 to 3 workable ideas for initial feasibility study from Tuesday to Thursday (own time)



Session 2 (Friday evening)

- idea categorization

- brainstorming in small groups over initial feasibility study

Objective

- 1 product idea for Major Project



Target; on Monday 19th Oct, every student must be equipped with the confidence to strive for Major Project.



PS. There is only ONE focus; good result for Major Project. Any other concerns and issues (be it political or emotional) are considered noise. You do not have the luxury to engage in those activities or thoughts.
