This email is to confirm your Project CRIT is scheduled for Thursday 18 Sept Thursday 2008 at 9am, LT25.
Needless to say ALL must be present when the CRIT starts at 9am. Please ensure that ALL your presentation files are loaded on the CPU before 9am! Your order of presentation will start from last student backwards according to the class listing below and end with the first. Again, this is to ensure that we do not get the surname A student to present as a matter of routine. All must be present in the LT to ensure peer learning. Therefore (see below) Yong Wei is first and Ken Cheng is last to present.
ALL have max 10 mins for your presentation . Do not overrun on your allocated time as this will eat into your classmates time.
Pls be reminded that you have to deliver:
1 Presentation powerpoint of about 30 – 40 slides, showing your concepts, research, moodboards, CAD drawings etc
2 Your ppt will show all three diff products ie Torch, Y Studio & Mailbox
3 Design management file which will carry up to 10% of the marks
4 Model of mailbox & appearance models of your You Studio concepts
5 Portfolio of your A2 sketches which we will quickly look at to ensure that you are practicing drawing and also adhering to A2 size work
6 Your finished model of the Torch will be brought in to show Dennis & myself on FRIDAY and after that we will bring it to store away
The lady fm You Studio will come and select works for further development. We will brief you separately on that.
We have booked the LT for Friday morning for this purpose and also if due to unforeseen circumstances, we overflow from Thursday.
