I have just confirmed that the next project that you will be working on is P3 which is the furniture and HPV project that you have just seen the Seniors complete. It is a massive project and is the first project that is undertaken by Seniors. Due to the school’s implementation of the SIP to be in July next year. (And I have informed you 2 months ago that this is happening) The P3 will therefore be shifted into the new block that will start after the break. I write to inform you the decisions and confirm its requirements. The timetable should be available to you soon and I urge you to very seriously consider and plan for this as you now know the level of your work capability against the available time and demands of the project itself. As I have earlier mentioned in my emails, if you have trouble working on the torch over 4 weeks, consider how much time management issues you will encounter now that we are doing the P3 first. You will notice that the amount of work relative to your time used for the torch will pale greatly if compared with the rigours of the P3.
I urge you to quickly start doing research and preparation for this project since it involves extensive commitment and production skills too. About 8 people have on their own asked me to show how welding works. The rest of you 37 might have absolutely no knowledge of how to do this. Welding is a big part of furniture and bike design. Knowledge of it will greatly enhance and help you make decision regarding how a design should be crafted.
The decision has been decided that P3 will be next block as SIP has been moved back. Pls allow your learning experience with the P2 to guide your commitment level for P3.
